Wet Point: Chapter 2.3

When the man, who had been thrusting his hips furiously as if to smash his body and the car, finally let go of Yi-an, he was on the verge of collapse. Slumped over in the passenger seat next to the driver, he was gasping and wheezing as he struggled to steady his erratic breathing. The man glanced at Yi-an and nonchalantly took the steering wheel. The vehicle, which had been stationary for quite some time, finally began to move.

Yi-an, who had been wearing an anxious expression the entire time because he didn’t know where they were heading, glanced out the window as soon as the vehicle finally stopped. After driving for several hours, they arrived in front of a building that was as suspicious as an abandoned factory. It was extremely eerie, with not a single person, let alone an ant, to be seen in the vicinity.

“…….”

Why on earth did the man have to leave that place only to come all the way here? Now that they’ve slept together a few times, is he trying to get rid of me? Or… … Yi-an’s heart began to pound rapidly at the chilling assumptions that kept flashing through his mind.

Bang. Yi-an got out of the car, following the man who opened the driver’s door without a word. He moved his legs, which felt so weak that it wouldn’t be surprising if he collapsed at any moment, and took a slow step forward. His intention was to buy as much time as possible so he could call for help if he saw anyone nearby, or if that didn’t work out, find an escape route anywhere.

“What should I do?”

“……?”

Startled by the voice suddenly coming from above, Yi-an’s eyes widened in surprise. When he looked up, the man was looking down at him with a low smile.

“Even if you look around so pitifully, no one comes.”

“…….”

“Because there is no one here.”

Only then did Yi-an notice red spray-painted X marks on the faded exterior walls of the building. Next to it, and even the building two doors down, were lined with the same color markings such as ‘X’s’ or ‘Vacant,’ and the occasional buildings with crumbling walls or broken windows that caught his eye also exposed their interiors, clearly indicating that no one lived there. It was a place where only silence reigned.

“Ah…….”

His hurried gaze stopped at a banner. Yi-an slowly read the visible text and silently lowered his head.
